• This magazine project prompts the question: what does the word 'robot' really mean in our society today?

• Inspiration came from the advancement of technology within the retail, restaurant, and consumer goods industries. Specifically: Marty the Robot, The Amazon Drones, and Barista Bot.

• The design was created using Illustrator and InDesign.

• The visuals provided inspiration; not only computer parts and modern day robots were addressed, but also the affect on 'brick-and-mortar' businesses in the brick wall background.

• The Hanami Cherry Blossom Festival piece was created as part of an advertisement campaign to bring visitors to Hirosaki Park in Japan.

• I drew inspiration from the city of Hokkaido, Japanese culture and historical Japanese art.
